Adventures in Iceland: The Blue Lagoon

January 25, 2019February 7, 2019 / Kelly / 1 Comment

One of the most famous sites to visit in Iceland is the Blue Lagoon. Once again, my journey there was booked from Icelandair. Ideally I would have gone the last day of my trip, to relax before leaving, but I ended up visiting day two. I highly recommend bringing as little as possible, getting lots … Continue reading Adventures in Iceland: The Blue Lagoon

Adventures in Iceland: The Lava Tunnel

January 18, 2019February 7, 2019 / Kelly / 5 Comments

For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by volcanos. Maybe it was growing up in the 'Ring of Fire' (although there were no volcanos in Lake Arrowhead, CA) or that Dante's Peak really made impression on me. Whatever it was, I have been hooked. So going to the Land of Fire and Ice, … Continue reading Adventures in Iceland: The Lava Tunnel

If I wait for other people, I never would have done it. However, it didn’t happen overnight but I would have missed so many things if I wait for the right guy or friends or even my own comfort level. Days are better with a Gus! Happy Halloween from Woody! I still cannot believe Gus kept this one, especially the hat to take photos. @campbowwowpetroplex are miracle workers! Just a Kels who grew up obsessed with the Oregon Trail and finally able to see Devil’s Tower! All in the blog. ‘Devil’s Tower, a monolith of old / A wonder born of fire and earth’s cold / Known to the Lakota as Mato Tipi / Bear Lodge, a sacred place, where spirits roam and speak.’-Unknown Road trips are so much better with a Gusbug! Love seeing the US with my best Gus! Spent the weekend near Dallas @cedarhillstatepark with Gus! We camped, hiked, and enjoyed a Texas sunset over the lake! My first time and just a really lovely time! Gus and I spent the weekend at Cedar Hill State Park. It was the perfect opportunity to test out my new @ripskirt_hawaii Sport skirt and sun scarf! The fabric on both was amazing and so breathable because Central Texas is in denial its fall!
