Spent that last few days exploring @glaciernps and camping at Many Glacier. Truly magical and cannot wait to share more!
Happy Summer Solstice and a new season both literally and figuratively. Moving is a lot, especially when you have chronic anxiety. But one day and a time!
On my way out of Oregon for the final time before the move, I did a quick stop at one of my favorite places, the Painted Hills and it was the perfect afternoon! If you’re visiting Bend, be sure to make the trip-about 2 hours away!
So glad I was able to stop in Bend for the night to see some friends before I move next month. Sorry to those I missed but know I’m very grateful. Watching the waning sunset at Smith Rock was a lovely way to close this chapter.
It’s CMA Fest weekend and I wish I could be there. I love country music (wrote all about it on the blog) and spending the weekend in Nashville with my brother was awesome! I cannot wait to go back but stoked to be moving to a country capital soon!
Sneak peak of this week’s post of visiting the ends of the Earth…or at least the western US.
Thank you all so much for the messages of congratulations! I still am in shock about moving and leaving behind the amazing life I’ve created in the Pacific Northwest but excited to see what West Texas beholds. Cheers to the Next Great Adventure ❤️

Cannot believe it’s been nearly three years since I went to New Zealand and Australia. The trip pushed me way out of my comfort zone and some life changing experiences.
My post on Upper Antelope Canyon is officially my most read! Thank you to the hundreds that have read it and I hope you enjoy the canyons as much as I did!
Today is the anniversary of the Mount St. Helen’s eruption. I grew up fascinated by what had happened but nothing can prepare you for how barren the land still is after all these years, especially if you visit Mt. Rainier after.
