‘I AM GOING TO BE FURIOUSLY HAPPY’

April 22, 2019April 22, 2019 / Kelly / Leave a comment

'I AM GOING TO BE FURIOUSLY HAPPY, OUT OF SHEER SPITE.'-Jenny Lawson It's been a minute since I talked about my personal philosophy: to live 'Furiously Happy.' I have discussed it in other posts, but as I was walking around New York City Saturday, I felt immense gratitude and wanted to share. The last year … Continue reading ‘I AM GOING TO BE FURIOUSLY HAPPY’

‘Who I’ve Grown To Be’

December 15, 2018January 11, 2019 / Kelly / 2 Comments

As we are headed on this journey, you should probably know a bit about me. Travel is in my blood. My parents have both traveled the globe...in fact they met on a plane and reconnected via the busiest airport in the world. Due to my dad's job, I was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and … Continue reading ‘Who I’ve Grown To Be’

I’m way behind on all things blog related, a massive move and starting a new job will do that, so here’s a photo fro my trip to Glacier in the meantime!
Sunrise at Moraine Lake.
In addition to a big move across the country, I BOUGHT A HOME!!! It’s a bit surreal and needs a bit of work, so in addition to my usual content, get ready for #adventuresinhomeownership. So much painting!
Moving from Spokane, Washington to Odessa, Texas…
Sunset at Lake Louise…
A truly magical few days in Alberta, exploring Canada’s national parks. I’m exhausted and am moving Saturday…but I would do it all again!
It’s very hot on top of moving and no central air, so a throwback to when I was very cold.
Facebook shared a memory from six years ago (second photo), I was going through a really hard time and was back on medication for my anxiety disorder. But, I was also just a few months away from my life getting infinitely better. Since that photo, I’ve moved across the country, had my heartbroken a couple of times, and traveled the world. I snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef and I while I did it all solo, I was never alone. I’m getting ready to embark on another great adventure (or two) and so grateful for my friends and family.
Sometimes, to see some incredible views up close, you take a very small boat onto St. Mary’s Lake in 30+MPH winds.
Lake days.
A wonderful couple days, with zero wildlife encounters, until the end when I casually drove past a Grizzly eating dinner.
Spent that last few days exploring @glaciernps and camping at Many Glacier. Truly magical and cannot wait to share more!
